A- At times when the "bell don't work" and you have to call out your stop, make sure you know what your ending stop. Unfortunately, bus schedules are inscrutable during those spur of the moment trips, but getting on the wrong bus can result in hour long rides around the city putting you in an unfavorable location.

T- The goal of taking a spontaneous day-trip is to tour someplace new. Sit down with your friends and name some local places you've always wanted to visit but never have. Make it different by taking a new route or a different method of transportation.

P- Pay attention to the characters you encounter on your travels. They may complain loudly about their lives and mumble to themselves questionably. Though what they say may not be relevant, it can be quite entertaining. If you sense that the people in front of you are talking about something interesting, casualy pause your iPod, keeping your headphones in, and listen in. Try not to make too much of a scene as you attempt to hold in your giggles.

I Think Not ...

Clogs, wedges, kitten heel boots, and futuristic platforms. designers these days are thinking wayyyy outside of the box. What's in in the fashion community may not be practial for the rest of the world. Even the wildest and most daring socialites and celebrities will sit and admire these trends from a distance while thinking, "is this really worth buying?"

C-Clogs are nothing new to the world of fashion. Though they are most popularly worn by German's in liederhosen and pigtails, Chanel has decided to ressurect the trend for everyday wear.
H-Handle pricing matters with reason. It may be okay to "invest" in a piece, but in order to consider yourself "investing" you have to first have the money.
O-Orginality is key in maintaining an intriguing wardrobe, but be sensible ! It would be really embarassing and potentially painful if you fell while trying to be cute in 12.5 inch heels.

C-Cute IS NOT synonymous to designer. Just because an item has name brand attached to it or you paid a lot of money for it doesn't make purchasing the item a good decision. In other words, just because a piece is designer doesn't mean you should buy it!
E-Everyone is entitled to their own opinon, but don't forget to use your best judgement! Yes, you should feel confident in what you wear though somebody else may dissapprove, but don't allow a cocky, potentially ignorant attitude to come between you and some sound advice.

With a Smudge and a Dot

So is this a mess or a Matisse? Some may find it innovative even abstract; others may find it strangely similar to the finger painting masterpiece they created in pre-k. It's no Picasso, but I appreciate every dot, line, and smudge. Whether or not i would pay anything over a penny for it ....

U- Understand whats going on around you. Turn on the news and find out what's going on in the gulf coast, for example. Then call up your best friend and debate about it. Intellectual matters will make you feel much smarter!

D- Dare to be different ! Wear a spunky pattern to keep your wardrobe interesting !
